I can’t say that I’m surprised by this, but it is still sad.
The writing is on the wall. Traditional religious communities, religious communities of strong faith who follow the teachings of the Church, are young and vibrant, and growing. While liberal religious sisters are aging and dying out.
You would think people could put 2 & 2 together. Catholic Orthodoxy is a vibrant and constructive force. Liberalism leads to aging and decay.
As Our Lord said, “By their fruits you will know them”.
Traditional religious communities are growing. It’s about time!
*I’m* surprised by this. Surprised that the LCWR response is so mild, I mean. Where’s the hysteria? Their disobedience and feigned outrage is so low-key.
Excellent original post. Agreed that congregations in the Church prosper when Her worshipers are faithful, and crumble when not.
