This is about a week late, but I thought I would post it anyways. Raymond Arroyo interviews George Weigel on the World Over. Weigel discusses the election, its consequences of the election, the Catholic vote, and more.
George Weigel does point out that there is a split in the Catholic vote (and the Protestant vote, for that matter). The split is between Church-going Catholics (faithful Catholics) you went for Mitt Romney (or against Obama). Then there is the “baptized pagan” vote, Catholics who don’t go to Church, are Catholic “in name only”. These went heavily for Barack Obama.
Weigel also talks about the HHS mandate, and about the path forward on fighting these mandated evils (contraception, abortion inducing drugs, sterilization).
