Interregnum

Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, is now officially the Pope Emeritus.  The Catholic Church, for the next few weeks, is without a leader, without a Holy Father.  For right now, we are all “sedevancantists”, as the chair of Peter is officially empty.

It makes one feel very empty.  Please pray for Benedict XVI, may he live many years, dedicating himself to God as he always has.

– The SSPX is holding a Novena for the Election of the Sovereign Pontiff, which goes from March 1 to March 9.

– The Fisheaters Traditional Catholic Forum is holding a Rosary Rally, “for the intention that our new Pope bring the Church back to tradition and the Consecration be done.”  They are racking up hundreds of rosaries.

– The Knights of Columbus have launched a webpage, and accompanying prayer for a good new pope, HERE (Vivat Jesus!).

As I find more rosary rallies/crusades/etc or novena, I will update this post with them.  If you know of more, please let me know in the comments, and I will add them to my post.

God, please bless your Church, and your humble faithful.  Please watch over the Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI.  Please guide your cardinals to make a wise and prudent choice in our next shepherd.  Dear Jesus, watch over us.  Dear Mary, ora pro nobis.
